Remove the upper oil pan.
(Refer to Lubrication Sytstem - "Oil Pan")

Remove the oil pump (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Repair procedures Oil Specification 1. The R-134a or R-1234yf system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2.
Repair procedures Replacement 1. Remove the rear heater & A/C unit. (Refer to Rear Heater - "Rear Heater Unit") 2. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear heater core cover (A).
