Hyundai Palisade: Rear View Monitor (RVM) / Description and operation
Rear view camera will activate when the backup light is ON with the ignition
switch ON and the shift lever in the R position.
This system is a supplemental system that shows behind the vehicle through the
AV monitor or the ECM (Reverse Display Room Mirror) mirror while backing-up.

This system is a supplementary function only. It is the responsibility
of the driver or always check the inside/ outside rear view mirror and
the area behind the vehicle before and while backing up because there
is a dead zone that can't see through the camera.

In case of bad quality or poor focus, be sure to check the camera
lense surface condition and foreign materials...

Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
(Refer to Body - "Cluster Fascia Panel")
3.
Remove the cluster (A) from the housing after removing screws...
System setting

The driver can activate the systems
by placing the ignition switch
to the ON position and by selecting
'User Settings → Driver Assistance
→ Parking Safety → Rear Cross-

Seat belt warning light

Driver's seat belt warning
As a reminder to the driver, the seat
belt warning light will illuminate for
approximately 6 seconds each time
you place the ignition switch to the
ON position regardless of belt fastening.
At this time, if the seat belt is
not fastened a warning chime will
sound for 6 seconds.
