Repair procedures

Replacement

[Rear pillar trim]

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.

2.	Open the two-row seat belt lower cover (A) and loosen the mounting bolts.

3.	Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear pillar trim (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

[Tailgate fillar trim]

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the third-row seat assembly. (Refer to Rear Seat -"Rear seat assembly)

2.	Remove the tailgate weatherstrip.

3.	Loosen the 3-row seat belt mounting bolt (A).

4.	Remove the tailgate pillar trim (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
