Hyundai Palisade (LX2): Power Tailgate Module / Power Tailgate Latch
Repair procedures
| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| 2. |
Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")
|
| 3. |
Disconnect the power tailgate latch and PCU connector (A).
|
| 4. |
Remove the power tailgate latch and PCU (A) assembly after loosening
moungting nuts & bolts.
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the power tailgate latch & PCU assembly.
|
| 2. |
Install the tailgate trim.
|
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| Inspection |
Components and components location Components Schematic diagrams Circuit Diagram Repair procedures Removal 1) After replacing with a new power tailgate module, check for DTC code at all times.
