Remove the under cover.

Remove the front driveshaft assembly. [Right side]

Remove the front muffler. [Gasoline 3.5/ 3.8]

Remove the dust cover (A).

Remove the transfer oil seal (A), (B).

Replace the oil seal with special service tools.

Remove the special service tools.

| 9. |
Install the new dust cover.

Install the front muffler. [Gasoline 3.5/ 3.8]

Install the front driveshaft assembly. [Right side]
(Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "Front Driveshaft")

Install the sub frame. [Gasoline 3.5/ 3.8]

Install the under cover.

Remove the transfer assembly.

Remove the transfer assembly oil seal (A).

Replace the oil seal with spacial service tools.

Remove the special service tools

| 5. |
Install the transfer assembly.

Install the under cover.

Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3.
Repair procedures Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch ON. 2. Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of the blower motor. 3. Select the control switch to raise the voltage until high speed.
