1. Front seat shield outer cover

Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.	Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

2.	Loosen the mounting screws and remove the front seat shield front cover (A).

Remove the front seat outer shield cover.

1)	Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear hook ①.

2)	Remove the lower hook ② by pulling it aside

3)	Remove the upper steel clip ② and the hook ③ by pulling them aside.

Remove the front seat outer shield cover (A) by pulling it forward as shown by the arrow.

•	Front Seat Outer Shield When removing the cover, pay attention to the removal order and direction.

•	Be careful not to damage the hooks and brackets.

4.	Press the lock pin and separate the front seat power switch connector (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
