Hyundai Palisade: Hydraulic System / Electronic Oil Pump (EOP)
Repair procedures

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
|
2. |
Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")
|
3. |
Disconnect the EOP connector (A).

|
4. |
Remove the EOP (B) after removing the bolts (A).
Tightening torque :
20.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.1 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.2 - 19.5 lb-ft)

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The existing o-rings must be replaced with a new one.
(Do not reuse it.)
|

|
Apply ATF to new O-Ring before insert EOP to transaxle.
|

2. |
Check the ATF level after refilling the automatic transaxle with fluid.
(Refer to Automatic Transaxle System - "Automatic Transaxle Fluid(ATF)")

After the installation, start the engine and then check
if there are any leakages from the EOP connection.

If the Engine Doesn't Turn
Over or Turns Over Slowly
Be sure the shift button is in N
(Neutral) or P (Park). The engine
starts only when the shift button is
in N (Neutral) or P (Park).
Check the battery connections to
be sure they are clean and tight...
