Repair procedures
[Rear pillar trim]

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective
tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
|
• |
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
|
|
• |
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|
|
1. |
Remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.
|
2. |
Open the two-row seat belt lower cover (A) and loosen the mounting bolts.

3. |
Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear pillar trim (A).

4. |
To install, reverse removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
|

Remove the tailgate weatherstrip.

Loosen the 3-row seat belt mounting bolt (A).

Remove the tailgate pillar trim (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Automatic transmission operation

eight forward speeds and one
reverse speed.
The individual speeds are selected
automatically in the D (Drive) position.

After replacing H/UNIT, always check that the system operates
properly.

If the failure persists after replacing the H/UNIT, do not replace
the unit...
