Hyundai Palisade: Rear Seat Belt / Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor
Repair procedures

When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the retractor.

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
|

1. |
Remove the second row seat back cover[LH].
(Refer to Rear Seat -"Rear Seat Back Cover")
|
2. |
Loosen the rear center seat belt lower anchor mounting bolt (A) at the
bottom of the second row seat cushion [LH].
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m , 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

Loosen the mounting nut and remove the rear center seat belt retractor
(A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m , 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
|

Other information:
Always fasten your seat belt and
make sure all passengers have fastened
their seat belts before starting
any trip. Air bags are designed to
supplement the seat belt as an additional
safety device, but they are not a
substitute. Most states require all
occupants of a vehicle to wear seat
belts...
The All Wheel Drive (AWD) system
delivers engine torque to both the
front and rear wheels for extra traction.
AWD is useful when maximum
traction is required on slippery,
muddy, wet, or snow-covered roads.
Occasional off-road use such as
established unpaved roads and trails
are OK...
