Hyundai Palisade: Automatic Transaxle Control System / Electronic Shift Actuator
Description and operation
Controls the 4 position of P(Parking), R, N, D using the rotation of the motor
of according to the electric signal when the shift button is operated.

Repair procedures
1. |
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
|
2. |
Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
|
3. |
Remove the air duct and the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
|
4. |
Disconnect the electronic shift actuator connector (A).

5. |
Remove the bolt (B) and then remove the electronic shift actuator (C).
Tightening torque :
20.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.1 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.2 - 19.5 lb-ft)
