Repair procedures

Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.

2. |
If the blower motor does not operate well, substitute with a known-good
blower motor and check for proper operation.

3. |
Replace the blower motor if it is proved that there is a problem with
it.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
2. |
Remove the passenger side crash pad under cover (A).
|
3. |
Disconnect the blower motor connector (A) and then remove the blower
motor (B) after loosening the screws.

4. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

When the ignition switch is in the ON
position, the clean air function turns
on automatically.
Also, the clean air function turns off
automatically, when the ignition
switch is in the OFF position.
Automatic Ventilation

When the ignition switch is in the ON
position or when the engine is running
and temperature is below 59°F
(15°C) with the recirculation mode
selected more than three to five minutes,
the air intake position will automatically
change to fresh mode...
