Repair procedures

Disconnct the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
2. |
Remove the carsh pad garnish.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Garnish")
|
3. |
Remove the audio keyboard unit (A) after loosening mounting screws.

4. |
Dsiconnect the connector (A) and then remove the AVN keyboard unit.

Install the audio keyboard unit.

2. |
Install the carsh pad garnish.
|
3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Make sure the connector are connected in properly.

Check the audio system.

The Smart Liftgate detecting area
extends approximately 20-40 inches
(50-100 cm) behind the vehicle.
If you are positioned in the detecting
area and are carrying the smart
key, the hazard warning lights will
blink and the chime will sound for
about 3 seconds to alert you that
the smart liftgate will open...
