1. Tailgate back panel

Repair procedures

Replacement

•	Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Remove the tailgate lower trim. (Refer to tailgate - "Tailgate Trim")

2.	Press the lock pin and separate the rear view camera connector (A).

3.	Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the tailgate back panel (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the tailgate locks and opens properly and locks securely.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

Repair procedures Replacement 1. Remove the liftgate weatherstrip (A). • Do not apply sealant to the body.

Description and operation Description The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser and detects ambient air temperature. It is a negative type thermistor; resistance will increase with lower temperature, and decrease with higher temperature.
